Our Story

Chinar Residency was born from a simple dream — to share the beauty and warmth of McLeodganj with travelers from around the world. Named after the majestic Chinar trees that dot the Himalayan landscape, our hotel stands as a symbol of strength, shelter, and natural beauty.

What started as a small family guesthouse has grown into a beloved retreat for travelers seeking peace, adventure, and authentic Himalayan experiences. Our family has called these mountains home for generations, and we pour that deep connection into every aspect of your stay.

Today, Chinar Residency offers modern comfort without losing the warmth of a mountain home. From our hand-picked furnishings to our kitchen's homestyle cooking, every detail reflects our commitment to genuine hospitality.
